Topdressing is the act of applying a conditioner such as Turface® MVP® or Pro League® Elite™ or a mix of soil products directly onto the top of the playing surface as a finishing layer. Topdressing an infield creates an even, ¼-inch coating of conditioner across the entire skinned surface. This provides a consistent surface which is most conducive to clean ball hops, safe footing and smooth sliding.
