How to Create a Warning Track

Warning tracks are an important part of a good outfield. The warning track should contain a material that alerts the player he is approaching the outfield fence. Cutting out the turf 10' from the fence and filling the area with a crushed aggregate or a coarse-crushed brick is an inexpensive and effective option.
