For many years, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Turface Athletics™ have teamed up to support the efforts of high school and college coaches who work hard to maintain their fields. Together, we have created an award and a scholarship to recognize both those who have gone the extra mile and those who are willing to take that next step, with just a little bit of help. One high school and one college will be awarded the ABCA / Turface Athletics Field Maintenance Award at the 2011 ABCA Honors Luncheon in recognition of their excellence in maintaining safe and playable fields. Another deserving high school and college will receive an ABCA / Turface Athletics Field Maintenance Scholarship that will provide free product and funding to help them improve their current field conditions.

ABCA / Turface Athletics™ Field Maintenance Award
Each year, one high school coach and one college coach is acknowledged for taking that extra step to ensure that their field is always in top playing condition. In recognition of their hard work, the ABCA / Turface Field Maintenance Award winners will receive ONE ton of Turface® MVP® and $400 to be spent on maintenance supplies! In addition, they will receive a plaque to be awarded at the annual 2011 ABCA Honors Luncheon on January 9, 2011 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee recognizing their excellence in field maintenance.

ABCA / Turface Athletics™ Field Maintenance Scholarship
This scholarship is given to one high school and one college in need of some assistance in upgrading their fields to a safe and playable level.
